Challenge

What's an estuary? How do we explain it to children? Who should explain it to them? Obviously someone who is intimately familar with an estuary should explain it. One of the most common residents of the Albemarle-Pamlico Estuary is the blue crab. Unfortunately, a suitably talented talking blue crab could not be found anywhere in the sound.

Solution

Animate a friendly talking blue crab named Grabigale. Six minutes of animation were intercut with beautiful shots of the estuary. In order to keep within the tight budget, numerous cycles were animated and then modified to hide obvious repetitions.
